An Elite Review
A lot of SONY ”Fanboys” are saying the Elite to be a pile of crap much like their reaction to the Premium and Core version of the 360. They say why buy that when you can have a PS3 for a little more. But thats what they are bound to say. Yes SONY may have the best console specification wise but its the Games and backing that DDP give to the console that makes them. So far PS3 exclusives doesn’t have any game that can stand up to any of the exclusives on the 360 …. so dare you read on?
My original thoughts when Microsoft released details about releasing the Elite was…
WHY?
Why wasn’t the things that are in the Elite made for launch…. A newer, bigger hard drive and a HDMI port. I still don’t have a clue on the answer. But is the Elite worth the £300 price tag? I’d say YES! Like many others that bought on day of release.
The console itself is a nice charcoal black (fits nicely with my tv and surrounding equipment) and runs even quieter than the premium does. Although not as quiet as the PS3 but if you focused on the game and not the noise it’s barely noticeable.
Once I’d booted up the console and set up so I was on XBL with my gamertag, Blue Dragon was put in…. And I was completely blown away by how much clearer the image was as well as the sound. If you have a TV with HDMI ports then this is the console to buy or trade up to… You won’t regret it.
