A lot of SONY ”Fanboys” are saying the Elite to be a pile of crap much like their reaction to the Premium and Core version of the 360. They say why buy that when you can have a PS3 for a little more. But thats what they are bound to say. Yes SONY may have the best console specification wise but its the Games and backing that DDP give to the console that makes them. So far PS3 exclusives doesn’t have any game that can stand up to any of the exclusives on the 360 …. so dare you read on?
My original thoughts when Microsoft released details about releasing the Elite was…

What better introduction of my posts than the overuse of security within Digital games.
Within the years Warez (The term that is used for illegal downloads) has increased thanks to dramatic expansion of bandwidth speeds offered by providers. This has a echo effect on media sales and can cost the industry thousands.
There for more and more forms of security over the years have been attempted to stop these illegal techniques, the most infamous being “SecuROM”. Not due to actual succeeding, but more so due to punishing those who do purchase the game legally. The new revision takes this beyond acceptable.

From what I’ve seen so far this looks like a game to eager to play…. Heres what IGN thought of it:
August 21, 2007 - “More gameplay per square foot than you’ve ever seen;” that’s the tagline developer Radical Entertainment used to describe Prototype at a recent press event. And from what we saw during the demo, that statement may end up being more than just marketing hype.
In Prototype, you play as Alex Mercer, a hooded, mysterious denizen of New York City. So mysterious, in fact, he doesn’t even know anything about his origin. As Radical describes him, Alex is a “dark anti-hero.” When he awakens in the city, Alex has no idea who, what, or where he is. All he knows is he has some truly freaky powers, and he’s pretty much an unstoppable juggernaut.
Alex is the Prototype, a powerful shapeshifter walking the streets of modern-day Manhattan. To alter his appearance, all Alex has to do is “consume” a human victim, then he can assume their identity. It’s effective, but probably not a talent you want to show off in front of your mom. While you have no clue as to who or what you are, you do know that a top-secret military branch of Black Watch Special Forces are currently rolling into the city to declare martial law at just about the same time you happen to be there, so you figure there’s a connection somewhere.
Check out the new trailer for Prototype.

From Gamespot article:
Ordinarily when Unreal Engine 3 makes headlines, it’s because the tool’s creator, Epic Games, has announced yet another licensee. The list for the development suite is currently extensive, and includes Capcom, Square Enix, Electronic Arts, THQ, BioWare, Ubisoft, LucasArts, and Sony Computer Entertainment. But last month, one of those licensees–Ontario, Canada-based Silicon Knights–sued Epic Games over the engine, saying the maker of Unreal Tournament 3 and Gears of War wasn’t holding up its end of the bargain. Epic Games filed a countersuit against Silicon Knights earlier this month, saying the original suit was part of an attempt to essentially steal the technology without paying for it.
Apparently, Silicon Knights isn’t alone in its assessment of Epic. In a Dark Sector preview on Aussie gaming site Gameplayer, Digital Extremes game director Steve Sinclair explains why his team passed on using Unreal Engine 3 for its next-generation debut, choosing instead to build a new engine from the ground up. “A lot of promises were made about the Unreal III engine, particularly on PS3,” Sinclair said. “But as we see now, the time frames haven’t been met, and now a lot of games using it are being held up.”
